Babysitting 101-BLAST (ended)

Description:
This course follows the American Academy of Pediatrics – Babysitter Lessons and Safety Training (BLAST). Students learn current practices for safety and injury prevention, first aid basics, feeding and caring for infants, how to handle behavior problems, and how to manage their babysitting business. Students receive a reference book, recipe & game handouts, babysitting bag and first aid kit.

Class will take place in the Kimball Area High School FACS Room. 

Kimball Elementary students can ride their "regular" after school bus over to the High School after school. Drop-off and pick-up at Door #2 on north side of the HS.

Minimum 10 participants / Maximum 20 participants
Bring to Class:
Water bottle, after school snack, cold supper, notebook and writing utensil.
